Project 5

My main concept from the Barcelona Pavilion was reflection. This space was intended to be a refuge to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and just relax. The architect intended to use both indoor and outdoors of the Pavilion as an escape. When i was working on this in Form Z, i focussed on teaching myself how to change the texture of the planes, how to give the water a reflective look with the mirror tool to reflect the walls and roof of the complex. I think i was successful in showing the reflective qualities in the water, yet i failed to show the travertine reflecting the water, the bench, and sunlight, this project taught me how to work with light, using sunlight and directing my cone of vision with the perspective to choose a frame to print out
